By creating an account on Reviscan, you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.
Reviscan is a school revision application published by Suisse-Consult SA (Valais, Switzerland). It lets you scan or import school documents, extract the text by OCR and generate revision questions using artificial intelligence.
Access to the service requires creating an account. For users under 16, parental consent is required. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.

Every new subscription includes a free 10-day trial without a credit card. Payments are processed by Stripe Inc. (PCI DSS). Swiss VAT (8.1 %) is included for Swiss residents.
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the period. Yearly subscriptions are refundable within 14 days of payment. Beyond that, no refund is granted.
At the end of the trial period without taking out a paid subscription, the data and documents created during the trial are kept for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
The monthly quota has two counters: a number of processed pages (160) and a number of generated questions (800). One page corresponds to one photo or one PDF page, whatever the source. Each scan accepts up to 5 photos or 1 PDF. The counters are incremented on successful generation, not on upload. A failed or cancelled scan is not counted.
For paid subscriptions (Solo, Duo), both counters reset on the 1st of each month and do not carry over. As soon as either limit (pages or questions) is reached, scan access is suspended until the 1st of the following month, with no additional charge.
Trial offers and promotional offers (for example the Summer Pass ETE2026) grant a fixed total quota, valid for the whole duration of the offer and with no monthly reset. Once this quota is reached, scan access is suspended until a paid subscription is taken out.
The service is reserved for personal educational use. The following are prohibited: commercial use without authorisation, creating multiple accounts to circumvent the quota limits, the use of automated scripts, and scanning documents containing the personal data of third parties.
Suisse-Consult SA reserves the right to suspend any account in the event of manifest abuse.
By uploading a document, you declare that you have the right to use it for personal purposes. Swiss copyright law (LDA, art. 19) authorises the copying of protected works for private use. Reviscan facilitates this lawful use. Suisse-Consult SA disclaims all liability in the event of use that does not comply with copyright by the user.
The questions are generated automatically. Reviscan does not guarantee their absolute pedagogical accuracy. Suisse-Consult SA disclaims all liability for errors in the generated questions or for users' academic results.
The generated questions are a creation of the Reviscan service. An anonymised version, with no link to the user's account, may be added to Reviscan's shared question bank as soon as it is generated, in accordance with the privacy policy. The user may object by contacting support@reviscan.ch.
Sharing is limited to personal, non-commercial educational use. Recipients without a subscription can access the first 5 questions for free. Share links expire after 30 days.
Within the limits of Swiss law, Suisse-Consult SA's liability is excluded for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability may not exceed the amounts paid by the user over the last 12 months.
You can terminate your account from your personal area. Your data is kept for 30 days after termination and then deleted. Suisse-Consult SA may terminate an account in the event of a breach of these terms.
Suisse-Consult SA may amend these Terms of Use. Any substantial change will be notified by email 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
These Terms of Use are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Valais.
Suisse-Consult SA cannot be held liable for any failure to meet its obligations resulting from a force majeure event within the meaning of art. 119 CO, in particular: failures of third-party hosting infrastructure, cyberattacks, natural disasters or governmental decisions.
If any provision of these Terms of Use is declared void or unenforceable, the other provisions remain fully in force. The void provision will be replaced by a valid provision as close as possible to its spirit.
These Terms of Use are written in French. In the event of translation into another language, the French version prevails in case of any contradiction.
These Terms of Use, the privacy policy and the legal notice constitute the entire agreement between the user and Suisse-Consult SA regarding the use of Reviscan, and supersede any prior agreement.
